Hi - The DPF warning light has come on on my 56 plate Mazda 6 (143 TD Sport). The car is usually used just for driving 10 miles to work and back per day. However yesterday i drove 90 miles at 50 / 60 / 70 mph. When i arrived the DPF light illuminated. When I got back to the car 2 hours later the DPF started flashing. DFP light flashing and i have P1336 CKP sensor/CMP sensor range/performance - Timing chain changed - I reset all parameters on PCM (oil, dpf, pump etc..) - Calibration with jumper cable under bonnet is done After calibration, DFP light goes off and when i restart the car, its on again with same P1336 code Reset the level display to zero; Refilling using the Delphi diagnostic bench, reset the fill level display to zero. Step 4: Select the vehicle as shown in the illustration. Test conditions. Key on, engine stopped. All electrical consumers disconnected. Battery voltage greater than 12 V. Additive reservoir filled or replaced. I tried driving at high speed for a time as well as adding DPF cleaning fluid to the fuel and taking it for a drive.

Carefully inspect the sparkplug wires and all of the boots for any cuts, tears or signs of arcing. Use some dialectric grease to slick up where the boots slip over the plugs and the high tension leads slip onto the coil. Clean the plugs, recheck the gap and swap them around too. Keep track of what plugs went where. The control indicator ('!') will flash if the diesel particulate filter needs cleaning and your previous journey hasn’t enabled automatic cleaning. If this happens, just carry on driving, keeping your engine speed above 2,000 revolutions per minute and shifting down if necessary. The filter-cleaning process will start - and we recommend you
939 posts · Joined 2019. #14 · Mar 6, 2023. The oil dilution is just a record of how much fuel has gone into the oil. It is only a calculation, but it is very accurate. Its purpose it to warn the driver of the oil level increase because of failure of the DPF system regeneration repeatedly occuring.
