GTA IV crashes with this. I finally realized that dinput8.dll was only 0k in size. I tried downloading it again but the size was still 0k. I then downloaded the source file and got dinput8.dll from it. This copy of dinput8.dll is 40k in size. Now it works with the VRAM showing the full 2048 MB. I guess Firefox is blocking the download.

For the crashing (this is what it works for me): 1.Go to your GTA San Andreas folder 2.Right click the file gta-sa and select properties 3.Then choose compatibility 4. tick : Run this program in compatility mode for: (and select here Windows XP (Service Pack 2) EDIT: if anyone has other methods please post them :)
